So I have side loaded snap many times and have all my permissions set, but every time I download an app and try to install it, it stays at processing. What should I do?

If you are running OS 10.2.1.2141, then extract the Android runtime from the OS file and sideload. Or you can download them from here and sideload them, then restart your device http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar

I'm running 10.2.1.537, should I still side load that runtime?

    Probably not.

You can extract the required files for 10.2.1.537/10.2.1.1925 from the autoloader posted here, or you can use Sachesi to grab just the Android BAR files.

And there are 2 BAR files that comprise the Android runtime, not one: sys.android and sys.android.shell. Make sure you load both of them.

Is there any links to the runtime files?

Can someone please help me. I've been trying to download Snap for a few weeks now and I have had absolutely no success. I am still running 10.1 as I have AT&T. I've tried side loading the app, it says it downloaded successfully, but the app is not on my phone. I tried uninstalling and then re-installing. Tried rebooting my phone. It still doesn't show up on my Z10.

    Thanks.

As others have said, Snap needs 10.2.1. Anything lower cannot install apks. The program is only built for the later OS releases

I have downloaded Words with Friends, but why is there a black box with arrow at bottom of screen? This black box takes up a lot of screen

Based on your signature you will need to update to 10.2.1 to be able to install apks via the native apk load. Other wise back to side loading using other methods.

Is there a way to have black bar hide when scrolling? As some apps need back arrow, but would be nice to have full use of Q10 screen.

I had that selected from when I downloaded from Snap. I did get appstore to download as I had pop ups blocked. But noticed the same Words game on appstore is older version than Snap and slower. Strange

Swipe down from the top of the screen and press "Hide bar".

There is a special gesture you need to do once you do that, to get the bar back. I tend to forget what it is.

I suppose, SNAP needs a update for download error coming. Especially its a case when on wifi. on 3G it works flawlessly apart from a couple of instances. Normally it happens for apps size of 20MB and plus but some times it happens with 5-6MB app also.. that's all on wifi...

Thanks. Found the button takes 5 touches for it to respond, would work so much better if it would hide with scroll etc.

I wish Q10 keyboard had hard key back button, then we wouldnt need the back arrow on screen

Did you read the message that came up when you hid the bar? Swipe from the bottom of the screen diagonally up: go from about bottom center toward center of the left screen edge. Hardware key not required.
