First of all, a great work

Secondly the problem. Not sure if it's been already shared, I'm seeing duplicated listing of many games after the recent update.

    Please check!

Hey guys, I'm new to Crackberry, so first of all: hi . I read trough the last few pages of this thread, but I couldn't find a post that solves my problem. I just updated my z10 to OS 10.2.1 and sideloaded snap Google play via ddpb ( I don't know why the sideload didn't work with the chrome extension ...). I can open snap, download apk files, but when I open the installer ("open installer") the process doesn't continue. It only says (in german) "Verarbeitung luft", which should be "processing" in english. After that nothing else happens, even after several minutes... Perhaps anyone is able to help me... thanks in advance!

It's happening on Google Play, not a snap problem.

Does this have anything to do with Snap?
I have the most recent version of BlackBerry Link! Link recognizes my phone when plugged in, but for whatever reason. Trying to side load snap through Google Chrome, the BlackBerry extension. Will not load the phone ip page. Can't figure out the issue

I couldn't get chrome to work since moving to 10.2.1.1055. I now use Sachesi and that works perfectly.

I have now also tried sachesi and that won't pick up my phone either? Is it possible that I need to change some form of setting besides discovery mode on my phone?

Maybe you want to try my Snap Installer.

Jopfet, I had the same problem and solved it by sideloading the two android runtime .bar files (I used an unlocked Android runtime before...). There is another thread where you can find them... and don't forget to change the app settings ( app manager --> install apps from other sources "on")

    Two things :

Should I set Snap settings to move the apk to the other folder post-downloaded? Or just have it delete the apk?

Second thing: does the fact of having the android apps on the phone (and not even open or running) kill battery life? Battery life has been horrible since 10.2.1 and downloading android apps for me. And I even did an OS reload via plugging in the device with fresh install from BlackBerry.com.

Snap comes as a bar file - those cannot be directly installed by the phone on its own. They must be sideloaded - I'd recommend the Chrome PlayBook plug-in or the Cobalt script that automatically downloads and installs Snap using a PC.

    Jim,

What isn't working for you? I'm running the newest OS on my Z30 but I had no issues on the 1925 leak.

Snap will download the apk but the installer just spins and says " initializing " and never does anything further no matter how long I wait. Jim

Up to you. The first option moved it to a folder of your choice so you can backup the APK so that you don't have to download it again if you ever wanna delete and reinstall an app. The second option deletes the APK from your phone. That's what I have it set to. I don't see the need to save an APK since Google Play saves a list of my downloaded apps and I don't mind downloading them again should I ever need. Saves space on my phone.
