    Hello.

Not sure this was posted yet. if it was the mods will take care..

Came across this post on BerryReview.com

    http://www.berryreview.com/2013/09/1...-api-apk-hack/

However I'm stuck at repackaging to Foo2.apk with a lot of text in command-line.

Anyone to help out a poor kid?

    Got it to work.

Problem was when I copied the code from berryreview site. Looks like the format was wrong.

Instead I just edited (not copy paste) the <use-library android.... code as they say.

this seems like it would be better if you could replace the need for google maps and use a different map engine so that you can still use the mapping ability of the app such as apps that really need it to run like Tinder and such. if someone figures that out then ill try it, or if someone has and has a working .bar file or the altered .apk file then please post.

I'm having trouble with this as well... getting an error right at the command prompt stating:
" 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. " right after i enter 'apktool d Foo.apk Foo'

    Here's a tip.

Make sure you download both files and unpack into the same folder.

Then when changing the android manifest make sure that you type it! Do NOT use copy and paste!
