hi, i read about Cobalt's patch app but got confused. i want to use google apps like calendar and Keep syncing with my laptop. i don't need Play Store. do these apps need to patch? (i should install play service).
what is the MicroG?
what is the best method for life battery?

Sorry, you'll need to buy an Android phone.... core Google apps have always been an issue on the BB Runtime. Some did worked with patching a few years ago, but even Cobalt's solution is less effective today. Many of those have moved beyond Android 4.3 or need the full "current" Google Services.

But you can access the web version of many of those....

Maybe @johnb_xp can help you. He claims to have been able to set it up.

I'm using MicroG on my Classic, works great. Have been using it for a year or so.
Use Cobalt's play store and patching program for Windows (removes GMS signature check completely)
PlayStore 10 by cobalt

You don't have to install any of Cobalt's .apks except the Play Store (com.android.vending) because MicroG supports connecting Google Accounts now.

The login page is kinda buggy, but I was able to get through it on my Classic by using the trackpad to move the cursor.

You could try swiping down from the top and adjusting scaling?

No, there's no desktop software that would be useful in this situation.

Try tapping the left edge of the email box, that's what's selected when I use the trackpad on my Classic

For BAR file you can use the PlayBook/BB10 extension in the Chrome Broswer to install native apps.

With Android apps... all you could do is move the APK install file to the phone... APK have to install themselves. Now there are some ways of converting APKs to BAR files, but results were always very poor.

Bottom line is what apps do you want and can they run on BB10.... there are many Android apps that will work. Just not the ones you asked about...

Well if you can post what version you found and what you had to do to get those all to work... that might be helpful for many others.

calendar-Keep-Drive-Photos (downloaded from play store but don't install them. Patch them with PS_Patcher-1.6 )
Slides-Sheets-Docs (find them in apkmirror.com but can't patch them so after install haven't any Error and selected add account in-app this is going to google account app for sync)

You don't need to patch. You just won't be able to log in.

I can't download any app higher than that of 100 mb of size from cobalts play store. It says can't download app refer to error 911. I don't know how to fix this? I reinstalled the app post-restarted my BlackBerry leap. It is not working however.

Actually my friends are mad after knowing that I have pubg on my list. They're always calling me to join their pubg party.
