Hi everybody,
I know this is a very specific problem, but I hope someone can help me as well.

The summary first: i'm trying to connect my philips TV with Philips Hue over the ambilight app on my z10. The problem is: the app can't find my tv.

I use a z10 with OS 10.2.1.2102.
The TV is a philips 47pfl6158k.

I installed the Philips Ambilight + hue app via snap Google play. The app seems to work fine, is able to connect to the bridge, but it just can't find the TV. The TV is on and connected to the same network as my z10 and the hue bridge.

I tried exactly the same from a friends android device and it worked fine....

I have the same problem with Philips myremote. This app can't find the TV, too.

Does anyone have the same problems? Is it possible that the blackberry OS10 has some issues with jointspace?

Just one of those things with using a runtime. There is dynamic linking of libraries going on in the back that may break the app. I suggest maybe convert it to a bar file and try to side load it. The process of re compiling the app make make it work.

Thanks for your reply. I converted it to a bar file and sideloaded the app, but it didn't work as well...

Is there any chance that blackberry will fix those runtime issues promptly? Otherwise I'm going to buy an android tablet for smart home purposes...
