    Greetings,

I'm going to be going to London, which supplies different power:

    Country Voltage Hertz Socket
    Canada 120 60 type A
    London 230 50 type G

I purchased a plug adapter, with the following specs:

    model psm04r-050chw1(m)
    input: 100-240V ~ 150mA 50-60Hz
    output: 5V ~ 700mA

What confuses me is that the other voltage converters I've looked at are large and heavy, whereas this plug adapter is extremely small and light. It says that it can take an input of 100 volts all the way up to 240 volts. Is this charger all I will need for my Z10?

    Thanks,
    Shane.

I have a Z10 charger that works in the UK. Its about 30mm across and 15mm thick (Plus the three pins that go into the wall socket). Most 230 Volt equipment is SMALLER than 120 Volt equipment because the same amount of power can be carried by half the thickness of copper wire. Have a great trip to London :-)

Thanks. I think the only problem is that 700mA won't be enough to charge my PlayBook. I'm not sure what the minimum amps required would be to charge the PlayBook.

    Shane.
