My work uses MS Exchange for email calendar contacts etc. As soon as I add my work email account to my Passport it pushes IT policy to my device locking Android app installation from anything BUT the Amazon app store. It also locks Development mode.
There is little I can do about the IT policy, so what I wonder is how can Amazon Android apps be installing perfectly fine but same apps from other sources like Snap will not install? Is it possible to "fake" apks from other sources to look like Amazon apps to my device so that they will be allowed to be installed?

    Thank you in advance!

Probably not. Anyway, your company clearly wants to prevent you from installing those apps on the phone. You could face disciplinary action for doing it.

Actually my IT would like to open access for me but the BlackBerry OS on the Passport is the problem here, my colleagues with Z10s can do it just fine with the same email accounts! Any other ideas?

I suppose your IT should revise the IT policy to allow installation from sources other than Amazon.

    Also, check your phone's setting:

Unfortunately it is a default MS Exchange policy, so back to my original question-any way to make apks to appear like amazon apps?
