How do I get android version 4.4 on my Z30. My current version is 4.3

Exact same thing happened to me....

I have the current version of Play Store installed but it still won't accept my google password when I try to buy an app. It says " an error was encountered, try again". I've tried a million times, no joy. Anyone else run into this? I'm successfully logged into the play store so it takes my password for log-in
