mailed myself in the phone the patched ola app. the file doesnt open. after downloading the attachment(com.olacabs.customer_4.0.6-patched.apk).

Good that the atleast Uber app working without want of google play service!!

my bb classic has BB 10OS 10.3.2.2836 & Android version 4.3

Any suggestion to work around this problem?

Problem resolved!! One must uninstall the ola app(the one that says the device doesn't support google play services). Then run the patched ola app :- it would work

follow the guidelines point to point if you dont have play store loaded in your bb.
if you already have playstore and google play services loaded in the phone then you would have to have a patched version of ola app. the details of patching is explained in detail point to point in the cobalts landing page
