Good evening fellows and lasses,

I am pleased to be apart of this excellent community and to really express my love for BlackBerry to just about anyone.

While loving BlackBerry, there's always that battle that we're missing crucial apps. One of the main ones are, most recently, Snapchat.

This hasn't always been the case, but the developers have really decided to crackdown on third-party apps, and even their own Android app. Now unfortunately we can't even use it without Google Play Services, or doing some serious working around with different versions.

This has ticked off even the loyalists BlackBerry connoisseurs, and well made for another reason not to switch to BlackBerry for many younger adults (and some adults).

I believe even the BlackBerry fans which solely use their devices for text, email, and work related tasks would agree that they would like as much leverage to "wow" a potential customer for BlackBerry. I personally love it when I see friends, colleagues, family, move to BlackBerry.

I am also one of those young adults which am really missing Snapchat on my BlackBerry, and have decided to try and make a difference. So I started a petition for 1000 signatures, which I'd love to achieve sooner then later, to just prove to those developers that there is a need for a port/amazon/blackberry app available to our user base.

Of course 1000 isn't very large, but if say we did it in a week, that's 1000 potential devices which they can gather data, advertise to, and generate revenue from.

So let's do this CrackBerry!

I honestly think you all are going at some point to face the fact that the company that owns Snapchat hates BlackBerry. If they didn't, then they wouldn't be jumping through so many hoops to block out BlackBerry users. I think that even if you had 1,000,000 signatures, Snapchat would not change their minds. They do not want to build an app for BlackBerry. Plain and simple. Wake up people.

Well then do your part to add to the signatures, and maybe we can get them to change their minds.

If we don't try to change this instance, who knows other apps may follow to do the same thing.

We should be supporting any app development for our OS, as that will be the key to survival, to try and pry some other OS users.
