    I don't have option to enable/disable NFC in my BlackBerry Q5 mobile. Anyone please help me to get NFC.

    I hope you don't find this insulting but did you swipe up while on the networks and connections screen. It may be below Mobile Hotspot.
    Your screen shot doesn't show...

    Also, look at device System Settings, Quick Settings and see if NFC is there as well.

    Curious...how/why would a carrier disable NFC?

    His carrier advertises the Q5 to have NFC as a feature.

    Not sure why (or even if) his carrier would disable it, but it's in BlackBerry documentation that this feature may or may not be enabled by the carrier.

    No. My carrier doesn't disable NFC. Because other Q5 mobile using the same carrier is having NFC option
