This looks awesome OP! Question - why not make it a web app (since you already host the site) and therefore multi-platform? (PC, Mac, Linux, etc...)

    Neat appearance.

Recently I watched the video and have had the itch to side load! Maybe I'll hold off a little longer as there is only one Android app I want currently. But this simplifies things even for the smartest of users like myself who just doesn't know about the side load process.

Looking forward to see where this goes!

This is geeat! What I'd love to see is an app that does all the conversions on the BB10 device itself and install it on the go! Then the app gap would be zero! Nill!

    Hey CrackBerry Folks,
I want to announce a new all-in-one sideloading tool that I'm working on. I know there are existing tools out there that work great, but they are all missing a nice and easy to use GUI.

Another thing that is different: This tool combines all the steps you need to get an app onto your PlayBook, Z10 or Q10 in one application:
    • Downloading BAR files
    • Converting APK files
    • Installing BAR files

Here's a little preview of what you can expect:
The start screen shows a minimalistic dialog that allows you to drag & drop .Bar or .Apk files into the tool and it will instantly install or convert it:

If you prefer an advanced interface or need to setup the tool first, this is what you will see:

Some of you guys will be familiar to the icons, you might have seen them before on bb10bars.net. That's because I'm hosting the site and I'm going to deeply integrate it into the tool. You will be able to search for apps directly in the application and, if available, the tool will download and install the app for you automatically.

That's it for now, I will keep you informed about further progress.
    You feedback is highly appreciated!

Alright guys, nice to hear you like it so far!

To all the Mac users out there: I really don't want to let you hanging. I would develop a tool for Mac OS, but I simply don't own one to develop with.

I've added a screenshot of the download section to the first post, it shows the integration of the search & install feature.

As you can see in the install dialog, I included a rating system that allows users to up- or downvote apps. The rating is included in the search result package icons.
