This is awesome! thanks so much! but for some reason everytime I attempt to install apps, it says in the log:

- (Response) Error: Device is not in the Development Mode. Switch to Development Mode from Security settings on the device.
- (Response) Error: Device is unreachable. Check you network connection.

Very weird because I am in developer mode and when I click to check connection before and after this, it says my phone is in reach.

Looks like a Java issue. Make sure that you have the right JRE version (x86 or x64) and that you restarted your PC after the installation.

I can't see a copy of the bar file in the BARs folder after the conversion says it was successful. Does the BAR file not get stored in this location? Second question, if I want to install Snapchat-4.1.03.apk do I drag the file to the convert icon first and then grab the subsequently generated bar file and drag it to the install icon? I must be missing something very obvious.

You can set the output directory in the settings tab. It should be a folder in your user directory. This is where any converted BAR files will be stored. From there, you can drag & drop them into the Install icon.

If you Google this error you can find related issues here:
Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows - Minecraft Forum

Try going through the solutions listed there. I would suggest uninstalling your current Java Runtime Environment, reboot, install the proper version, reboot and then try again.

I have been using the BB10 Sideloading Tool and have found it easy to use. However, I face a strange problem: I have to unzip and install the software on my Desktop each time I wish to use it. You don't need to do that. Just go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\BB10 Sideloading Tool

and create a shortcut on your desktop.

Looks like a Java issue. Make sure that you have the right version (x86 or x64) and that you restarted your PC after the installation.
Also make sure you use the IP in settings > about > network, not the one in the developer mode window.

Something in your setup is obviously not correct. Have your tried connecting your device via USB and setting the IP to 169.254.0.1?

Well, this particular file seems to be corrupted, although my log (using the version that's available online) tells me that the package is corrupted.
Try to sideload this one, I know that this bar working on every BB10 device: Remote Control Collection for BlackBerry - BB10 Bars

Just want to let you know that there wasn't a single user who had issues that where not related to a wrong system setup. Feel free to use whichever tool you want, though. As long as it works that's alright.

I guess it's a Java issue, so I doubt that you have the proper JRE installed. Please doublecheck that (x64 != x86). Restart your PC after installation.
