I copied a bunch of APK files I want to convert right off an Android phone but I can't get the Sideloading Tool to see them.

I put them in the BARs directory - should I have put them somewhere else?

Drag and drop them into the tool. The BAR folder is where the converted files will be saved to.

I successfully installed viber from download tab when I start it says unfortunately viber has stopped, please need help I have z10 with 10.2 official os also when I enter android files from my file manager there is 0 items in it!!! is that normal??

Looks like a Java issue, so I doubt that you have the proper JRE installed. Please doublecheck that (x64 != x86).

Hey all, I've just found this app, and am looking forward to testing it out, but upon initial run, I'm getting stuck.

From the log, will bet the following:

Installing apps
Error: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at BB10_Sideloading_Tool.Installer.installAppsThread( )

Any thoughts??

You need to have an unlocked JellyBean runtime to run most apps. Have a look at the forums, there are quite a few guides for that.

Typical rookie mistake... Windows 8 system missing a system reboot in between. It now completes the install, but doesn't seem to show up on my Z10... sounds like more testing today, as this will be an incredible tool..

but on further inspection I find the following in the log

Have a look at the log. Make sure that you followed the setup guides correctly.

Looks like a Java issue. Make sure that you have the right version (x86 or x64) and that you restarted your PC after the installation.

Sure, you need to change the bar file folder to something in your user directory. If you don't start the tool as admin, it has no access to C:\Program Files (x86)\...

Sure that your device is in development mode and that you entered the development mode password (not the device password)?

Make sure you use the IP in settings -> about -> network

NOT the one in the developer mode window.

I am converting other apks very well, but just this one in specific, is given me this error. What I cand do to solve this?

Converting .apk is ok.
Installing the .bar gives the error.

I am trying this about 2 weeks and cant find a solution. Maybe something hardcore coding.
