Just got Netflix update through Snap app. Seems like they've changed the look and UI somewhat. Now icon is white with red lettering, and startup screen is black with red circle animation while app is loading. Haven't had the time to review all changes, but check it out.

Yup, works with Chromecast as well on 10.3. No other apps needed, just built in operational.

Hate to sound stupid but how are you getting it to go to chrome cast? I see the option on the update info but after I did the update I have the new UI but can't figure out how to send it out.

works with chromecast device even on 10.2.1 on Z30 ST-002 with latest netflix from snap.

if it doesn't work for u then install this old Chromecast apk from here .old version doesn't ask for Google play service.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ribivfy1ux...cast.app-1.apk

.then restart BlackBerry phone one time only. then open netflix app over wifi. should be seeing the chromecast button in netflix.

Guys, I updated to this new version of Netflix on my Z30 and have had no problems. However, my gf updated it on her Q10 and it's now crashing and closing. I've tried deleting reinstalling from Snap and got the same result.

For the time being we had to reinstall the previous version with the older look and UI. Her Q10 is running 10.2.1.2977.

Any ideas what could be the problem? Could it have something to do with OS version (I have 10.2.1.537 on my Z30) or perhaps due to the screen size?

    Thanks!

Loved the Q10 but now it's Z30 power time!!!

May have to do with screen dimension. A lot of the newly updated Android apps are having problems on the BlackBerry devices with square screens. This is due to the fact that no Android devices have square screens. Hopefully this issue will be cleared up with the roll out of 10.3.1

Don't know why they don't just send it through BBW... it works perfectly fine for Zs atleast.
