It might be that since you installed a new version of Netflix that any older patched version won't work. I hate to suggest a clean OS install to clear out any "stuff" and then the have the older patched version still not work.

I did a clean wipe of the app using the Device Monitor method though. I hope it's just the Chromecast version...or for someone to confirm it just doesn't work on Q10s, though I highly doubt that's the reason.

I posted this screen shot of Netflix working on my Passport. The Netflix app version is 3.160.0 (code5294). I patched according to all of Cobalt's instructions. Try this patched Chromecast apk. I have several and I think this is the latest one I have installed.

Didn't the fact it has to be patched give you a clue that it also requires all of Cobalt's apps, which includes GPS. No surprise there.

What's your chromecast version because my chromecast app(new one) doesnot see it
and old app see but says chromecast requires updated one

So mine is old....it works with Netflix and Hulu. What more can I ask for. I have also stated that that is the reason I'm not updating the app. No reason to since the one I have works just fine.

Thats true what you are saying but none apps show the cast icon except youtube and chromecast latest one doesnt detect it

Old one used by @smokeaire detect it but have version problem


youtube shows because (acc to me) it doesnot rely on google cast api
and other apps including chromecast rely on cast api which is part of play services

Mine version of Chromecast is same to @smokeaire 1.17.46278 and chromecast app is also same to him
whats different seems to me of Google play services I have tried it on 10.3.2.798 as well as latest and last to it ,
it doesnot work on any of these

That is the version. I use all of Cobalt's apps, and I update those as soon as Cobalt posts it. I use older versions of Chromecast, Netflix and Hulu, both of which work just fine on my TV.
