How come on 10.3.1 there was no message about Google Services when opening the app, and now after the update it's showing up? I mean I can go ahead and patch the app, but why would the update change that. I would have thought it would have updated the runtime.

Most likely you got a newer version of Netflix...

I have the newest Netflix installed on a number of devices running 2339.

Only those devices which also have Cobalt's Google Play Services installed ironically show this message - the others do not.

Nope. There was no update to Netflix, only to my Device OS.

Thanks. I tried deleting Cobalt's Google Play Services, and poof! No more notification of requiring Google Play Services on my Netflix app.

Yeah, I know. I just find it an annoyance more than anything.

Hate Google for making Google Play Services. Android was supposed to be open source

Do you know what open source means? Why would the source be a available if no one could change it?
