    I checked my device monitor and the top drainers aside from system were all android apps. So I checked some of the mobile sites and saved them to the homescreen. They work pretty good and don't run in the background. Specifically, wikipedia, facebook, pinterest, and linkedin.

    Anyone else using mobile sites instead of apps and has a recommendation?

    I don't personally like to side load Android apps so yes, I use the mobile sites.
