Has anyone, or is anyone using the Microsoft Outlook app on their BlackBerry? The Android app.
I've used it many times before on multiple BlackBerry 10 devices. But, lately, it seems that I can't turn off notifications for it.

The app is mainly used to check work emails, from time to time. But, I certainly don't want the notifications of emails etc. 24/7.

To be honest, I simply didn't want my work email on my device. Hence using the Microsoft Outlook app for my Office 365 email.

I figured out a moment ago how to silence the Outlook app.

Side note: if I can add my work email to my device BUT prevent it from checking email UNLESS I 'push' for it, I'll add it and omit the app...

Perhaps you can check the possibility to use BES12 Cloud for your Office365. I don't have experience with it, but previoulsy I am on BES10 and Exchange 2010 On-premises.

BES will create a separate Work Space for your work account. The e-mail will still be pushed but at least you cannot easily see it / not being tempted to always check it. I also got annoyed by the 24/7 notification came from work email, so I had set a long password for entering the Work Space so it helped me to improve my work-life balance.

Set it up as a standard email account, change sync to manual and remove it from your hub.

This, or keep it in your Hub, but give it silent notifications and a special colour code.

Hmm, interesting ideas. For now, I've managed to get the notifications to be turned off within the Microsoft Outlook app.
I'll keep it that way for now. I don't want any 'association' per se', between my personal and business accounts...
