Sorry for my ignorance but are we able to delete the original downloaded apk files after the app has installed? For example, I have an Instagram apk file in my download folders. Can I get rid of it now that the app has been installed or does it require the original file to continuously work?

Better yet, connect your phone to a pc and copy all the apk files to a folder..
So, just in case a future updated android apps doesn't work for you, you can easily reinstall all the apps you have tested and works for you.

I have a folder named clean apk which I saved only working and favourite apks on my phone.

    Just in case.
