I see that this excellent item I've used on my PC is now available on the App Store. Also CCleaner. What experiences can folk report here?

Ccleaner is good, no problems. You don't need Malwarebytes.

Alright thanks. I asked b/c I did load MWB it ran once ok but thereafter froze at the opening screen.
CCleaner does seem a better option than Cache Cleaner which I had before.
I still miss battery pulls on BBOS! The poor man's cleaner!

CCleaner used to be good before they loaded it up with all that crap that is not needed. Now it produces more crap than it cleans. I find the best thing you can do to keep your BlackBerry running smoothly, is to simply restart it once a day.

It deletes the files (cache) which are important for apps it can slow them down because of that.

    Sandboxed?
And is there some app that does a scheduled restart like there was for BBOS?

Sandboxed means that the Android player on BlackBerry 10 is separate from the BlackBerry 10 OS and system files, so if you are running an Android app that has malware attached to it, it cannot affect the OS.

I don't believe that there are any scheduled restart apps in BlackBerry 10. Best thing I've found for that is to get into a routine of restarting your device when you plug it in to recharge.
