    Well... I can verify it

I took the plunge even though I really thought I would lose everything. The steps were easy too

    -Did a FULL Link backup on a Z10 -3 running 10.2.1.2273

    -Upgraded to 10.3.0.296

    -Did a FULL restore.

Now all my apps and folder arrangements are back to their original state. I've checked 3 Android games so far, and all have their progress intact.

    Thanks BlackBerry!!!
Just a side note, You dont have to upgrade to the latest 10.3 branch to make this work. 10.3 is still in Alpha and contains many serious bugs and watermarks. If you want to upgrade to the latest (and quite solid) 10.2.1 build I would recommend 10.2.1.3175.

Haha yeah, thanks. Kinda besides the point though. The whole purpose of that was to show that the latest 10.2.1 leaks backup Android data. But thanks for trying to help buddy

Youre exactly right, like you said the whole purpose (and point) is to show the latest 10.2.1 build restores the data from earlier 10.2.1 builds. However you're talking about 10.3 which is completely different and isn't even out of Alpha. Not everyone here is tech savvy and by steering them towards 10.3 you're not really giving good advice. Yeah, thanks for sharing your method nonetheless. Good to know they incorporated the apk userdata restore into the 10.3 branch too.

Guys are you installing the Clash of Clan.apk first before restoring the backup?

I did, but I don't think it was necessary. All my apks were restored with data, even the ones I didn't download before the restore

I'm about to load up the 10.3.0.442 SDK and sideload all the necessary bar files from 10.3.0.297.
My doubt is, after doing this and making the OS function-able, will a full restore bring back all of my Android apps (in particular CoC)?
    I'm on Z10 STL100-1/10.2.1.3175 now
    Thanks

I haven't read anywhere that its been done by that method. It would be a safe assumption to me that it would work the same for the restore process. Report back here if you try it?

Sure doesn't look like it. It's locked down pretty good. If there is away, no one has figured it out yet. Hey, maybe we'll get lucky and get Google play login with the official 10.3, who knows

We don't need to "pull data", we just need to be able to login to Google play services. Then we can waste as much money on gems as we want
