Hey dudes I don't really know what the problem is you're having, guys. The "Aptoide" link on page 8 of these comments, as far as I can see, still works fine.

You download the Aptoide app store, search for Grindr and then push download!

That's exactly what I did and I got it working fine on my Q10. And I'm definitely not the most technical of people but that, to me, was very straightforward!

    Hello All,
First, many thanks to you all. My contract w/Verizon ends in March and need a new phone. I was unsure what to do as I didn't want to choose between Grindr and a keyboard. Now that I know Grindr works on the Q10, I'm good.

I'm interested in the Classic and think I might be happier with that. However, I won't get it unless I KNOW for sure that Grindr works on it and any problems are due to my lack of tech skills and not the phone. Has anyone tried it yet?

    Thanks again.

Thought I would let everyone know I was able to get Grindr side loaded to my new Leap via Blend on my laptop. I used the .apk file that I found linked somewhere, I believe here on Crackberry. I am not very tech savvy so this was fairly easy to do. I'm very relieved because it's the one app I really felt I was missing. So far, it's working fine.

I got this from the play store, and it works but always says my location is accurate to 500m which is bad. On my iPhone was always less then 25m.

Also, when on open chats the chat screen will bouncy like crazy and give you epilepsy... guess there's worse things to catch from grindr xD

As of the September udpate Grindr doesn't work on my Classic. Also the older versions are not working as they only revert to uploading the newest version. Anything to be done?

Yeah, the new "Grindr v3" doesn't work... for many months we managed OK by sticking with Grindr v2, but as the previous poster says, since September 2016, Grindr have clobbered v2, when you load it, it just displays a nag screen to update to update to v3.
So unless someone can manage to tweak v3 to work on OS10's pseudo-Android, we appear to be stymied

    Just thought I'd update:

    Despite having downloaded, uninstalled, re-installed, etc. etc. more things more times than I can count, I have to give up on trying to get Grindr working on my Classic. Real life interferes too much;
I just don't have the time & energy to spend on cajoling an abandoned OS to work properly.

Scruff 4.7083 works just fine. I guess that's what I'll be using.

Major bummer, IMO. Aside from hook-ups & dates, I've found my partner, many friends, and my current home through Grindr connections.

Let me tell you, if the Mercury comes out on Verizon I'll be first in line. If not, I'll have to re-examine of the advantages of having a pkb still outweigh all the extra work involved.

    Sad, really.

Hornet 3.1.9 works too if patched.
