    hi there,

does anyone know if the Jawbone UP app from google play store works as a sideload and by any chance has the converted bar file for me?

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...wbone.up&hl=de

i'd appreciate your help. already searched the forum but i could not find a satisfying answer to my question.

I second that. Currently syncing with iPad. Using my Z10 would be much better.
I emailed jawbone. They have no plans to port themselves.

I just checked the Jawbone website and I believe the Android version of their app is only compatible with 4.0+ (Ice Cream sandwich and up) so hopefully once 10.1 rolls out we'll be able to side load it on our Z10s.

I'm also interested in side loading UP but if they're coming with a native app that's great news!

    Thanks!
I get an error while sideloading, though.
Downloaded in Windows and installed via Sachibar.
Downloaded in Linux and installed via the Chromium extention. Both give an error. Chromium says failure -12.... whatever that means...
The app icon shows up on my Z10, but the app won't start...

Edit: I just tried it with version 1.0.12.0. Same results.
I guess we have to wait for the Android 4.x Player...

Any update to this situation? One of the many things I'm taking into consideration in trying to choose between BB and...dare I say it...iPhone *gag*

Hopefully someone's managed to get it working relatively decent

The UP app is not side load friendly because of the <4.0 runtime in BB10, you will have to wait til BlackBerry is updated to 10.2 with the newer runtime.

I am running the leak of 10.2.0.810, and have sideloaded the Up application. Surprisingly, I can even sync, most of the time, to my Z10! It is a tad sluggish, but works very well.
    When 10.2 hits, everything changes.

Are you using the bar file from above or did you convert your own using signing keys?

I created my own. Grabbed an APK, and used APK to bar Web page. It seemed like it wouldn't sync at first, but if you wait a moment, it is fine.

Quick update, I installed 10.2.0.1047, and in the process, figured out why syncing can be troublesome. Make sure you have the volume turned all the way up, and it should work just fine.

I have tried to load on every 10.2 leak that gets released with no luck with or without debug token method. It closes on app launch unfortunately.

Nabil could you kindly post the bar you are side loading. I'm on 10.2.1470 with the Android runtime from 810.

    Cheers and thanks in advance
