Hello,

Is there a way to sideload APK files with development mode disabled? I believe I tried Sachesi at one point and it did nothing. - just hung there.
I have my own Z30 device with Corporate email utilizing the Balance feature. I see that our IT personnel have disabled Dev mode on my personal BB10 device.

With OS 10.2.1 you can directly load apk files without any conversion, sideloading, or dev mode.

What's your OS version?
Does your BES policy disable apk downloads, even on the Personal side?

You can just do it straight from the file manager. Just connect via USB or RFA and go to your computer, then wherever your apk is and click it. Should bring up the installer right there.

Edit: this is assuming you're on 10.2.1

I do have 10.2.1, and I am able to install APK files. I have an old version of Snap that isn't functioning any more so I wanted to update that as well as get some other apps that don't seem to be available on the Amazon app store or APK train. Also wanted to install Snap2chat.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm pretty sure you have to sideload bars, but you can install apks directly
