A workaround is to backup the media card. Format the media card. And copy everything but the camera folder and have the old pics in another folder. Opening from media card should be fine after that.

Lol it is so easy to fix. Just move your pictures from media card to your device and it will work

Set your camera to save to device. Honestly I've never had any problems with it. I however do the double versions install.

Navigate to Home screen and tap Camera icon.
    Swipe down from the top.
    Tap on Settings.

    To choose the desired setting:

To set SD card as default storage
Tap the Save on Media Card Switch to On. The Switch moves right and fills with color.

To set internal storage as default storage
Tap the Save on Media Card Switch to Off. The Switch moves left and turns grey.

But what if you don't have a lot of space on your device

Also you can't see thumbnails of the photos if you decided to select through the android file viewer but you are able to see the pics

Pixel bug exists for me too. As for being "unable to upload". I just take a screen shot of the picture.

So after taking a photo, I go to the Pictures folder, open the picture I want to upload and press the volume + - buttons together. Instagram allows me to upload the screenshot.

    Hope this helps!
