Can you try restarting your device to re-init the android runtime?

Don't know if you missed anything, but what have you to try and resolve this? Have you tried other loader apps such as Snap?

Well, there is your problem. Direct apk installation is only supported on OS 10.2.1+.
Go to settings on your device, and check for updates. If your Carrier hasn't pushed the update yet, then you may need to install the update manually, either via Sachesi or autoloader.

As Dustmalik stated, its OS 10.2.1 that you need. 10.2 will not work.

I have 10.2.1.2155 os and still get the error msg. I thought the direct install with APK Train was suppose to be the answer.

Same here. Maybe it's a Q10 problem. I have the latest software as well. Maybe the android runtime doesn't work well on the Q10. Who knows

I have a Q10 and the runtime works perfect. Did you install the runtime offered by BlackBerry World by accident? This would explain the problems

Nope. I previously sideloaded the android runtime before the 10. 2.1 came out coz I wanted instagram on my Q10. But the orientation was not right so I deleted the whole thing. Did the sideloaded runtime affect the runtime of the latest update? Maybe thats the reason or something. Not sure on this

The file MUST have ",apk" written on it or it will not work. You can try to rename the extension of that file to .apk using File Manager and then save and retry the installation. If it still does not install then you need to find a different source for that download or try the download again.

YES ! the solution is indeed to rename the file with " .apk " at the end (on your blackberry). Your device will then recognize the file as an app and open it.
