Just out of curiosity, when you're in a BBM chat, do you still have the camera icon when you tap on the paper clip on the action bar below the chat?
My camera icon disappeared a few updates ago, and so did the scan to add. I'm guessing something went wrong while the BBM update happened (like, another application had invoked the camera and so it showed as unavailable to BBM).
Is that from 10.3? This is my daily driver and I'm still on 10.2.1. What's interesting is that this happened when I updated to the version before the current version of BBM. I was hoping the latest official update would "refresh" the app (I made sure the camera was not active prior to updating BBM)... unfortunately it didn't fix it.
That's only to show your own QR code (so that others can scan it), if you want to add someone using their code then you need to swipe from the top and use the (missing, for us) icon.

Nope. When you tap invite to bbm, it will come up with this. And then type their pin or tap at the bottom to scan their QR code.
Already posted this work around in 2 other thread but here it is again.
In BBWORLD swipe down from the top and you can use that barcode scanner to invite.
I know it's not a fix, just a temporary solution but it's better then nothing.
Technically if you have any barcode scanner app on your device it should work.

That's the first I've heard of the camera disappearing from BBM, but it very interesting and it does sound like something went wrong with the install or maybe there is an app that's running in the background that you didn't think of that has camera permission?
So what does that attachment bar look like for you now, have the icons shifted? Or is there an open space where the camera should be?
