I had instagram sideloaded before, and I just installed snap so I removed the sideloaded instagram then install the instagram though snap and it installs but when I go to open the app it just gives an error and says instagram can't open.

is there a fix for this that anyone has?

I feel this was because I deleted my previous verson then tried to install the app through snap.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Snap? And then try to download and install instagram.

I would try this. I did the exact same thing and it worked for me

I'm not sure, but I installed Instagram via sideload. So, I uninstalled Instagram via sideload. I meant via DDPB. Then, I installed SNAP and Instagram, and I have no problem. If I'm not mistaken, you have to uninstall via sideload that were installed via sideload. Otherwise, there could be some mess up in residue files that may cause a conflict.

Uninstall then reboot before you install again.
