Hello guys,

Oke so i've been having some trouble trying to get snapchat working on my Blackberry Classic device.
First i downloaded the three files to get the Playstore working. I downloaded snapchat and found out i couldn't use it without Google Play Services.
After i finally got Google Play Services on my device it said that my device didn't support Google Play Services.
I searched on the forum and i found a post about patching your apps so that they don't need the support of Google Play Services, but since that post says that that won't work on Snapchat, my question is if there is a way to work this problem out?

Unfortunately, there hasn't been any solid solutions for snapchat to work on BB10. Your only options are getting an android or priv smartphone.

If you really need snapchat there are three options in doing so.

1. You can figure out a way to have it run on bb10 issue free. Which in the past few months has been greatly unsuccessful.

2. Download Casper that is 50/50 in terms of how long you will have access.

3. Get an android phone and/or tablet, an iPhone and/or tablet or the priv.

Option 1.
0 to 1% chance of success

Option 2.
50% chance of success

Option 3.
100% of success

I'm not sure if your aware that snapchat has been actively preventing BlackBerry and Windows users from access because of the screen grab function (volume up n down)

There was a window of opportunity of logging in with an older version, and then updating the app - all patched versions of course. Once it works, it will keep working, so long as you don't delete the app, log out, or get banned.

The problem is that window has been closed.

Sorry for the late response, I explained it in another thread, download a oldd version 9.3 something and make a new screen name, it won't let u log in with your old one

You can patch an older version of snapchat
Like v9.14.2 or v16.0 I try the both of these versions and the two of them are working

I just patched v9.14.2 and it won't allow me to sign up. Just keeps spinning. *shrugs* I imagine I'm doing something wrong if you've got yours working.

Edit: it says there was a problem connecting to the server. Looks like that opportunity has closed eh.

Your are correct. That loophole was closed some time ago unfortunately.

If you have it working, it will keep working. But you can't start fresh and sign in no matter what you do now.

Thanks man, I'm trying Casper but it looks like you need to already have a user name with snapchat. Grasping at straws here, who wants to create me a user name and send me the login information? Lol

If anyone cares for an update:

I downloaded BlueStacks. Installed.

From there, logged in with Google account to the Playstore

Downloaded snapchat

Created a new account

Downloaded Casper on my passport

Logged in with that new account I created on the PC

Having fun.

I haven't tried snapchat itself v 9.14.2, Casper seems to be working and I had created a separate google account for this purpose.

I can confirm 715 works, I patched it, then whitelisted it (Not sure if the whitelisting is required, but I do it with all Android apps)

I have uploaded the patched and unpatched version for all:

*You may need to create a new account, my daughter tried with her existing account and it would not login. She was able to create a new account with this version and it worked.
