Anyone have any idea why I cant install lucky patcher version 5.6.8, it downloads, goes to install gets 3/4 of the way thorugh and says unable to install.

Did you completely read the first post? In big red letters there is : DO NOT AUTOUPDATE LUCKY PATCHER AS UNPATCHED VERSIONS DO NOT WORK ON BLACKBERRY DEVICES.

Did you install all the required Cobalt apps including Whitelist? If not then do so following the instructions completely and in order.

Snapchat doesn't work. This has nothing to do with Google Play Services.

I don't use Lucky Patcher anymore, there are a lot of apps it won't patch. I just use GMaps Patcher. If it can't patch an app then it can't be patched (except perhaps manually by Cobalt232).

BTW: A simple search would have shown that Snapchat doesn't work, period.

Because it has more options for patching and modifying the APK files.

Good! My problem was that i not installed the whitelist. Now the app not crash. But not show the maps where find the cars.

I downloaded and successfully installed Lucky Patcher. The home screen told me there is a custom patch available for C2DM. I suppose the goal is to find C2DM and rebuild and install this file? I do not know what C2DM is or where I should look for it.

The problem I am having, as it seems most everyone is having, is that my android apps keep generating "google play services has stopped." That is what I would like to correct. So at the minimum, what exactly do I need to download and install? Much of the information here, while very well documented, is a bit overwhelming to those of us that don't disect and analyze the Blackberry to the detail required.

I've tried many things, I downloaded the playstore, downloaded google play services, then got the notification that it is not supported by my device.

So I guess I just wasted all that time for something that wasn't even possible >.<!

I've also read that it might work if you download the previous version, and then update it after. Do you think it's worth giving a shot? Or simply, nothing will work at this point in time?

The trick with loading and signing in on previous versions does not work any more.

Couldn't have more of a different opinion. All Cobalt's methods work 100% for me, no need for aptoide when the full featured store works and patching brings apps almost to full function. There is no better method.

Don't blame Cobalt's and his incredible work for your shortcomings. If you follow instructions as well as you write it's no wonder you have problems.

If your app requires Google Play Services, then it won't work your way.

Cobalt's method is the ONLY one available. Period.
