No that is not my address. Notice that the little blue location indicator isn't there. Haha although that would've been hella creepy posting that on here.

That's all I'm posting from the sidecar app because it says my number everywhere else. Hahaha

Hello all,
I 'm trying to install an app located here : SFR TV.
The installation worked, but the app don't work.
I thought that the app was not working due to Google dependencies, but the patcher made by Cobalt don't evoke it. However, it is reported that it used Google Play (and Cast).
Do you know how i can I find why the app don't work properly ?
See you soon,
Will this make android tinder work? Android apps cant seem to use location services. In android tinder im stuck with the app telling me to turn on locations, i turned locations on but app android tinder doesnt seem to recognize it. Im gonna try to download google maps to see if it solves the problem.
It's probably trying to use network location, which the android runtime on bb10 won't provide.
So you telling me android tinder will not work? :( does gmaps can pin point your location?

Gmaps can, because it does so independently without the use of Google play services. The network location (note: NOT Gps location, network location) api that most apps use rely on Google play services, where there's a signature check we can't get around at the moment.
Did you try installing google play store? Sometimes its existence itself is enough to make the app work
Hi Sally,

Tell how can i help you.
Thanks,
Woops, something weird happened there. Edited :)

Re edit : Sally, i have all the files needed. I will try it on my Z10 and i made a return tomorrow. Thanks for your help. I get Google Play V 4.50.

No. Don't ask again.
LOL
It's a shame... I really thought we had that one ironed out. After all, I did get thanked by Sa Gar last month when I said that it will never work. I figured that would mean he got the hint but apparently not.

Hi Sally,
I have installed the play store and google services apk. The app lunched but there is two points :
_ The app asked for an update, but i have the last version. I can escape this question for the setting.
_ As soon the settings are done, there is a pop-up that say that Chrome cast can be used and then it return to the settings or it doesn't stop popping with Cast.
I think that i can't used this app...
Lmfao! :D

I'm new to this. My Snap chat is not working correctly. Its telling me this app won't run without Google play services. Which are missing from your phone. Its telling me to get Google play services. And also it will not let me type a caption in a picture. Please any help will be much appreciated. And if there are instructions on how to get it to work. I will be indebted to you..

You can probably patch snapchat with the patcher and avoid the error, however snapchat doesn't work quite right even with patching (blurry camera, no push notifications), so I'd recommend checking out snap2chat in BlackBerry World.
That's what I figured I had to do thanks for responding. Sally

Has anyone noticed any issues with the newest Google Play Services file included in the Patcher V1.0?
It seemed to work fine at first but then I started have some major lag issues with Android apps. It also seemed to cause some problems with non-patched apps giving "Google Play Services Shut Down" errors. In some cases the apps would run fine after the error message, in others the apps would shut down. I also started having problems with the phone's operation in general that included intermittent hub loading lag and graphical issues when I turned the phone from landscape to portrait mode. Sometimes whatever I was working on would be "squished" and turning it back and forth wouldn't solve the problem. Everything looked fine in landscape though.
I have since gone back to the Google Play Services file in Gmap Patcher V0.9 and my Z10 is back to normal again.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!
The latest included and patched Google Play services are highly optimized for OS 10.3. You may encounter problems when using with 10.2.1.
You might want to check out the last few pages of this thread for Lucky Patcher.

I think there's a few of us with related issues with GPlay services errors, including me. No solid solutions yet.

Thanks Cobalt! I'll use the old version until 10.3 comes out. I was wondering if the Patcher was going to be 10.3 ready. Now I know!
The apps I patched with v1.0 seem to work fine with Google Play Services from v0.9. I'm guessing it's backwards compatible?
Thanks again for all of your hard work!
