Bummer, Alright man thank you for checking, that's what i kind of gathered it's just more reassuring if it's confirmed by another person too.

So 48 hours has passed, and I got the validate user license pop up again. I might just cave and email them to see if they'll unlock my account so I can continue to use the app. If they won't do it then I'll give bPod a try thanks to the suggestion from earlier. Thanks to Cobalt for going through the logfile and to everyone here who offered helpful tips and suggestions! I appreciate all of your help.

What does "Obfuscated Google Play Services dependencies in ec.smali detected" mean? GMaps Patcher v0.9 printed that message in its Output window while operating on vivino.web.app-71.apk. Regardless, the patched app seems to work ok on my phone.

The Android Wikitude app (com.wikitude-8003.apk and com.wikitude-8003-patched.apk) does not run well on my phone. Both versions eventually close with message, "Unfortunately, Wikitude has stopped." I copied a portion of the Android runtime log for reference, below. Thinking there might be a permissions issue in Wikitude, I even added android.permission.INTERACT_ACROSS_USERS to Wikitude's Android manifest, but that did not resolve the "Wikitude has stopped" issue. (Yes, I know there is a BB version of Wikitude on BB World, but I was hoping to try any newer features (i.e., implemented since Aug 2013) in the Android version.)

I wasn't able to get the latest version of Uber (3.0.18, May 20) to run with this version of Google Play. I logged in to Uber and then eventually got the error: cannot find your location. The app would then always immediately the show the error after restart. I tried uninstall/reinstall for both Google Play and Uber. Also tried running Google Maps simultaneously.
Downgraded to 4.3.25 and Uber is working again (except when I go to account in the app - get the stopped working and force close).
Also, has anyone had luck with Lyft recently? I get the stopped working and force close with old and new versions of Google Play and I also tried patching with the patch extra Google Services option. This is my first time installing Lyft.

These tips should help:
1. Do not patch Google Maps!
2. Do not install Google Play (com.google.android.gms)
3. Install Google Login Service
4. Install Google Vending
5. Activate Webhistory on https://history.google.com/history/settings?hl=en

I'm having a problem trying to get an app working called 'InfoDota'.
Since patching the .apk using the latest patcher (as well as installing the created 'com.google.android.apk' from the output folder) the app no longer displays an error message stating the need to install google play services, it now displays an error message stating 'unfortunatly, Infodota has stopped'. If I then tap the the on-screen 'OK' button the app promptly closes!
I've attempted to install the app with and without installing the patched 'com.google.android.apk'.
This is also free app, I've been trying to get this thing working for weeks (massive dota 2 nerd here lol).
Any help would be greatly welcomed.
Thank you for creating this patcher, it's appreciated by the community.
Try to restart after installing the patched google play services apk.
I've restarted (several times) and installed/uninstalled/reinstalled the com.google.android.apk from the output folder but the problem still persists.
I'm not sure if there's anything else I should be attempting to resolve this?
Thanks for the response.
2 things:
1. Try an older version of patched google play services (somewhere way back on this thread, before April) . I've found some odd things happening with the newer versions cobalt patched.
2. If that fails, use cobalt's blackberry logger (in his signature), and run it while opening the app that's giving you trouble. Then send the log to cobalt (or post it... just not sure if there's any sensitive info in those logs) for him to look at to identify the problem.
I'll try this app myself tonight as well.
Thank you so much for all your advice, I'll try the steps you listed first thing in the morning.
Thanks again
