So you are saying that i can update OS with any USB and it will update , i'll do on your confidence as i still not sure, but why BB blend is not working when i connect via USB.

    Posted via CB10
There are a number of other variables related to Blend.

    Otherwise, USB is USB.

    Ok.

Here is the autoloader you want.

Download to PC, unzip it, plug in phone, run autoloader. Done.

The process will erase your personal data, so use Ultimate Backup first if you wish.

You seem to be a very novice user. Be patient until you get the hang of the BB10 procedures. Even for me, a long time BB10 user it was hard to update to the latest OS version a week ago. And Conite ignored my help request

Yes you are right but i don't have any other choice as there is no service centre of blackberry where i live, so i know i am novice but can't help it as i don't want to loose blackberry phone at any cost.

I was dragging the files and the process wouldn't start on Darcy's or Sachesi. It finally did.

Ah. Although in this case, an autoloader is much, much easier.

I was also unsure on what autoloader to use since every comment and link was on how to do a non-destructive update. Luckily it finally worked on Sachesi and everything has been working fine since the update.

If you care to update it, you should add to install it on c:\, that's how I finally got it to work.

The patched packages I can create with the Patcher 1.6 (with apktool 2.3.0) are only 1 KB. I cannot install those on my Blackberry Q10. I get an error message saying it is not a valid package.

I think I have an issue with the framework. Whenever I click on update framework, I get the following error message:

    Code:
Attempting to delete framework file C:\Users\remy\apktool\framework\1.apk
Info: Found no framework file to delete. Analyze a package to create a new framework file.
When I analyse a package, Google Maps for instance, no file is created in C:\Users\remy\apktool\framework\1.apk .

Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

You're definitely doing something wrong. Not sure what you're doing. Select a path for the patched apk to be saved on your pc, copy it back to your device and install it. Make sure to whitelist unpatched apk.

Thank you conite. I've finally updated my OS, big big thank you.

I was unsure of this as when I read the instructions of how to update OS, then it was saying that one must have original bb USB, but finally it worked without bb USB

    Hi Conite,

Sorry for troubling you again but I patched OLA taxi app with default settings and it successfully patched. I whitelisted tha unpacthed app and have gmap working fine, however in case of ola taxi app pickup location, it shows unable to find location or shows incorrect pickup location. Am I missing something.

First off, you don't need GMaps installed for maps to work within other apps.

Second, the problem you are having is not related to the patching process. Maybe get a location fix on your GPS and THEN start the OLA app.

Try patching Uber and see what it does.

WhatsApp does not need Play Services. Just tap outside the warning box.

On a side note, you should update your Cobalt apps - you are using a very old version of Play Services.
