    You should get familiar with patching apps yourself.It's easy and makes you independent from others.

    You need to do some reading and invest some time checking all of the available info regarding this matter here on Crackberry. Then come with more specific questions.

    Is there any difference whether a patched apk file stored on the device or sd card?
    Should be it the same folder before I white list it?

    You only whitelist UNpatched apps. In this case, you don't need to as Google apps are already whitelisted.

    Once you whitelist, you can delete the unpatched app, so where you initially store it is irrelevant.

    I downloaded apk files (e.g. Uber, you tube) from apkmirror.com , i run the play services patcher (PSP) on it from PC and the PSP says the files dont need to be patched. So i copied them over to my BB passport but they won't install, i get an error. Am i getting apk's from wrong site? I folllowed these steps below, what am i missing?

    How do I patch my Android app?
    Download and unzip Play Services Patcher to a folder and then run it. Select the desired Android app (apk file) and press the Analyze button. The patcher will do it's magic and create a patched version in the \output folder. Copy the patched apk file to your Blackberry device and then install it as usual. Remember that you must have installed my pre-patched Google Play Services on the device for this to work.

    Do not attempt patch the following apps (it simply won't work):
    * Google Play Services
    * Google Play Store
    * Goolge Play Games

    These apps require a special treatment and can only be patched by myself. If you want to use those apps, you can download the pre-patched versions from my Google Apps landing page:

    No need to install the unpatched app when you have to patch it anyway first.

    Just look in the download folder.

    Hey Conite - trying to patch Way2Ride's updated, and fails on recompile - see analysis screenshot, do I need to uncheck Google Maps API v1, or uncheck decompile before running the framework analysis?

    Update to Cobalt's new files - whitelist 1.0.0.6 and Google Play Services v10.

    You now only use the default settings in the Patcher app (decompile set to off).

    Whitelist the unpatched app. Maps key no longer required.

    So if I understand correctly.....
    - install both whitelist 1.0.0.6 & gms 10.0.84 over existing apks
    - re-whitelist unpatched new Curb & Way2Ride APKs
    - patch w Patcher 1.6 (apktool 2.2.1.jar)

    .....and hope for the best.

    Will this deal with Google Maps too? Like Curb, I successfully patched and installed the APK, only to have the "application has stopped working"....BB10 version of the BSOD, well, not quite. The runtime's BSOD

    This is the way for all apps now. Don't forget - do NOT decompile.

    Always use Cobalt's Google Play Store to obtain the apps, as you get the correct version and variant.

    The latest working Viber is an older one (no need to patch):
    http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/viber-m...-apk-download/

    Make sure you are using Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings only.
