I notice there is a backup version 1.3.1 from mega.co.nz. I tried to download the file in Chrome and said the file is malicious and chrome blocked it. Is this normal or what's up with this? Anyone know? Maby I will wait till PS Patcher is available...

We all know Cobalt's files are NOT malicious. Just allow it.

    Here you go:
    Tripadvisor patched
Hi, after common patching with GMaps patcher I can run Tripadvisor just with blank map a tap on the map does nothing. Google Play services 8.4.89 build 5 are installed. The download for patched version is not available any more.

Is some way how to bring the map to work?

Solved, with GMaps Patcher 1.5 + GMaps API code

Simon, still having the same issue, even if repatch again new files and change the phone (this happened using classic and now passport, so I don't think either mobile or files are the problem...)

    Patching com.google.android.apps.maps.apk with:

GMaps Patcher 1.3.1 no problem at all.
PS 1.4 and 1.5 beta 2 I get the same error message (I will add a picture)
I remember a user sent me his patched file but same problem, so I still insist there's something in the patcher, because I reformated my HD, new installation, everything clean and the issue persists.

    File size with:

    GMaps 1.3.1 patcher: 31,1 MB (32.649.403 bytes)
    PS 1.4 or 1.5 beta 2: 31,1 MB (32.632.911 bytes)

those bytes of difference are storing something wrong.

The patcher works, there is no doubt about that. It looks like you did not update the framework after switching from 1.3.1 to 1.4.

Believe me, I updated everytime I choose the file before patching.
How can you explain that a user sent me his patched file (with version 1.4) and the same thing happened...
there must be something wrong somewhere

By the way, will you update to the last version of google play services? because I found that the problem with flightradar24 pro, is not working anymore I think is because I'm not running the latest version of google play services

I am NOT worried about Cobalt... it's the worry that the website could have been hacked, and the file tampered with, after Cobalt put it there...the website is "mega.nz"

I have a "Jave.exe could not be found. Please configure the Java in Path settings" when I try to analyze. When I go to paths, java.exe is already in Java.exe field. The only thing I can change is the device path... do I change that at all. It has " Y:/downloads"..i don't think. I need to touch that. Any help please?

    First: Read first post.
Second: In the Paths Tab the top section is named "Application Path" with the field named: "Java Exe".
The "Device Path" can be wherever you want the patched APKs to be copied and stored, either on your phone or on your computer.
    But read first post.

Thanks Smokeaire, I understand that. The difference between my application path and Colbalts example on first page is that mine has /jre7/ instead of /jre1.8.0_40/. That is prob just that I am running Windows 8 maby. Should I change it to exactly as his? Plus his example path has got a /bir/ or somthin like that at very end and my path ends with just /java.exe

I would like to make an observation on the patch. Programs that ran when loaded with SNAP, would now ask for google play services. This was after all of the files are loaded. Also the programs would no longer run, by just hitting the screen to get rid of the warning. It is a great system and works fine. One of the other things is people have an issue with the Java line of code. The number in the line is the version of Java running on your computer. This way the path points to the file.

You need to change where your java is on your computer. Cobalt's is just an example.

    Coblalt...........HELP

yup, I have an interesting problem. A file (apk) that was deleted, when reloaded is loading with the older date. Not the present date? Help The file on the computer, when you try to patch it has the present load date. The one on the BB has the older date?

Let me spell it out clearer. When I delete the app on my phone, originally loaded with SNAP. I reload with Play Store. The APK loaded is not the newer file but a reload of the older file. This causes an issue of not being able to patch the file to stop it asking for Google services. I have deleted the file on the phone in the files section, but on reload the file comes back with the old date?........help
