I have a MAC too and I'm forced to run this patcher on an old PC. But I would like to see a MAC version or better yet BAR/APK version so it can patch directly on the device. Can't complain much however colbalt puts a lot of time into this and the community owes him a lot not the other way around

    Hi!
first of all Thank you Cobalt and everyone for this great work

I have successfully installed all the Google Play Services packages, patched and installed the latest google maps and now I was trying to patch and use a car sharing app. This app called "Enjoy" has id=com.eni.enjoy. Here is what I've done with Play Services Patcher.

Run 1 (Options: Decompile Resources; Detailed Log):
    - Analyzing the apk it shows these 3 dependencies:

Google Maps API v1 dependencies detected
Google Maps API v2 dependencies detected
    Google Play services dependencies detected

    - Clicking on "Continue" button and receive the error:
    Error: Package cannot be recompiled.

Run 2 (Options: just Detailed Log):
    - Analyzing the apk it just shows 1 dependency instead of 3:

    Google Play services dependencies detected

    - Clicking on "Continue" button, the apk patched is created successfully;
    - Going on my Z10 it gives me an error saying "unable to install the application" (it doesn't even shows the install button).

Here is the detailed log of both runs
    1run_err_recompiling.txt
    2run_NOdecompile.txt

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you for the help

Thank you for your quick reply.
I follow the #1 post and has been able to install the patched application.
This app must show a map (where you can locates the shared cars for rent) but the map is blank as shown in the attached screenshot.

just for information, the patched app has been created without the decompile options and in this case the Play Patcher found just 1 dependency instead of 3. The "not detected" dependency are the Google Maps dependency. Could be this the issue?

This change is because Google contacted Cobalt and told him he had to stop using the key that allowed Maps to work in commercial apps. Cobalt posted this: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?p=12342797
So there is very little that can be done.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Google has informed me, that my Google Maps API V2 Key (which is used to enable Maps integration for all of you) is being used in a way that violates the terms of use. Currently, the key serves for more than 100'000 Maps requests a day, but that is not the problem. More of a problem is, that the key is being used in commercial apps that have been patched, and that violates the terms.

I have no other choice than shutting down access to the MAPS API V2 key. In other words, I'll kick in the kill switch.
Access to Maps content will be disabled on March 13, 22:00 CET+1.

If you want to continue to use Google Maps integration in your patched apps, you MUST update Google Play Services to 8.4.89 Build4 (its on the first page). Remove the existing version of Google Play services before you install the new build. Do not update!

    Thank you for your understanding.

I am guessing that you might want to patch the Mission Impossible app?
Pls I downloaded Mission impossible but it doesn't work
When I open it this is what pops up after minutes of attempted loading
In the patcher window, click the "Browse" button and then navigate to the Mission Impossible .apk file.
