I managed to patch Uber 3.80.6 but I had to disable "Decompile Resources". After installing the app works with the exception of the ability of the app to find my GPS location. This worked for previous versions of Uber AND google maps works fine.

Am I doing anything wrong with the patching?

    That's the only way.

The mobile app rarely works properly now. You must use your PC.

You must not be using the latest Play Services Patcher it would appear. It has decompile off by default.

Make sure you have the latest of all of Cobalt's apps installed. They made changes to how mapping is done.

The Download tool in Play Services Patcher 1.4 isn't working for me. I can check-in to my Google account, but when I try to download a package the Status instantly displays "Unknown Error".

Downloading packages with GMaps Patcher 1.3.1 still works properly for me.

    The patched APK won't install.

    Any workarounds?

What OS are you on? There are serious problems with the Android Runtime on 10.3.2.2876.

Also, did you delete the unpatched GMaps before trying to install the patched version?

ahhhhh. yea i'm on 10.3.2.2876, did that update, and realized I hadn't updated any of colbalts apps since the spring, so I then deleted his family of apps plus google play music, and google maps. Instagram i've never had an issue with, and still works now.

edit: just saw your post about reloading the andriod runtime, i'll give that a shot first.

I deleted the unpatched GMaps before doing anything. I'm going to try to install the unpatched version and see how it goes.

Lucky Patcher has a very low success rate. You need to use the PC program. The link is in the first post.
Yeah Cobalt takes forever on a Z10. The removal of app permissions works fast but removing Google Play Services is very slow.

No doubt, but I meant was if i need to patch an app, how to i get my hands on that particular apk to patch? I have used Cobolts patcher and it works great but i got my apks from the SNAP app which i deleted as it would store the apk on my phone.

Does Cobolts patched Google Play Store store the apks when we download them so we can send them to the patcher? If so, where as i can't seem t find it.

Download the app from Cobalt's Play Store, look in your download folder in your phone. That is where you will find it.

Yes, in file manager, the APK files are downloaded to device- downloads.

Hello, sorry if this has already been asked and resolved but I'm not going through all 95 pages of this thread and the 165 ones of "Cobalt's official Google Apps landing page" to find out. I succesfully (according to the Play Services Patcher) patched Google Hangouts, I installed it in my BlackBerry Passport with BlackBerry 10.3.2 and when running it it gives me the message window: "Hangouts relies on Google Play services, which is not supported by your device. Contact the manufacturer for assistance:", and on the Hub I get a notification asking me to update Google Play Services that says that "Hangouts requires an update to Google Play Services.". So what am I supposed to do or what am I doing wrong? I have Cobalt's: "Google Account manager 4.3.3-737497", "BlackBerry Google Id 2.7", "Google Play Services 8.4.89(2428711-036)", and "Google+ Whitelist 1.0.0.4" all installed in my Passport, the "Google Hangouts" version I installed is 6.1.109448852.
    Thanks in advance.
