It doesn't matter. Both ways work, they call the same uninstallation routine. Play Store usually detects removed apps right away, but it may also take a few seconds until it updates the view.

Installed 7.7.0 which doesn't ask me to log in, it worked automatically. However that is no good either because it still fails to connect properly. Everything personalized in settings either asks for google play services or says no network connection or cannot save home/work

Cobalt, can you try whether you can patch the Gojek app, com.gojek.app.apk , to work. Everytime I patch then install, it always crash after passing the "google play services required page".

Re MEGA, you can set the BB 10 browser to "desktop mode" so you can then download directly in the browser in stead of that you are being referred to the MEGA app.

I ran it through this site: https://virusscan.jotti.org/en-GB
8 of the 21 scanners report it as malware, 13 do not though.
I consider it a false positive for now.

Even my own Virus scanner detects it as malware. I had to exclude it. I guess that the integrated apk-downloader looks suspicious to Antivir apps. But I can assure that the app is absolutely clean.

Last thing if you had an app that I installed - FieldLens - and needed the patch - do you need to delete the app from BB and then 'reinstall' - if so how to do you make sure it goes to the APK on BB or do you install via SNAP side load?? Sorry! Thanks.

You could use the latest one. You just have to set the `java.exe` executable path yourself

Windows 10 has the same core as Windows 7 and 8, just with a newer wrapper on the outside
So without a doubt it will work

If the app requires patching, then you will patch on a PC, then transfer over to your device
Use the file manager to navigate to the file and click on the patched file (which will have a "patched" in the filename)
Click and install. Yes, you do need to delete and reinstall if you've installed the same app pre-patched

That's true if using GMaps Patcher. Lucky Patcher is installed on the phone. Most of the time LP works fine, but there are some apps that can only be patched by GMaps Patcher.
