What OS are you on? Expedia loads but crashes when I go into hotels probably due to Google maps and Sygic cannot download data from Google Play

Expedia works if patched with GMaps Patcher. Just make sure that you have Google Play services AND Google Play Store installed on your device.

Fifa 14 still shows error connecting to the store. It says make sure you have google play applications installed and logged into it.
I have play store and google services(patched one) and google play games apk(unpatched as the patcher doesnot patches it)

Try the patched Google Games file. If it doesn't work, we're out of luck.

Yes, we are actually out of luck. The patched version of google play games you gave me behaves in the same manner, comes up with the error of unsupported device and doesn't lets you signin in the game itself.

There is a patched version around, but it is quite buggy. You can give it a try:

I have installed the one we get in the patched folder in the patcher. Is both the apks same or different?

It is because Blackberry OS has a modified and stripped down version of com.google.android.gsf implemented into the OS and this prevents most of the stuff working correctly. As it is part of the OS, it cannot be replaced with a fully working version. So all we can do is do some fixing around it.

I read somewhere that John Chen stated that in the final build of 10.3 around 98% android apps will work without problems. Maybe we'll not have to rely upon patched google apps in 10.3 anymore. If not then I guess we have to build up a custom OS team like that of Cyanogen in android.

I'll see if I can dig out a working version from my archives. At one point they integrated Google play services, which, even when patched, causes a crash. Give me a day or two to have a good look.

Do we have a link of most of the compilation of patched apps? I see a lot of people asking for patched app for this and that, I don't know, just asking. If none, it's still great. I really admire the developers who do these patching of apps to fill the app gap.
