Well, I have uninstalled the vendor.app via Ghost commander and try to reinstall it and I can finally install the app on 10.3.

I don't understand how...If I can help with the 10.3 tell me how.

Thanks a lot! I'd still like to know if the apk for Google Play and Google Login (from Cobalt) are already patched or are they unpatched and do not require patching for some reason?

So, if I sacrifice Google Maps to get other apps working, I still need to patch other-apps before installing them, right?

Not sure about Google login services, but Google play services is definitely patched.

And yes, you still need to patch the apps for them to fully work.

As far as I know, google login services doesn't play nice in 10.3, and possibly vending as well. Overall, these patches are very much "up in the air" for 10.3 since we dont know the full capabilities of 10.3 yet.

Patched google play services are included in the package on the first post (along with the patcher itself).

The other files if you need them (google login services, google play store, etc) are around page 4 or 5 of this thread I believe. Look for a post from cobalt232.

How can I get Quickoffice To work? I have the patched Google play settings (from the output folder), login service, map and Google play store (from pg5) installed after installing the patched Quickoffice (and play settings) apk's from the output folder.

It doesn't get past the initial login screen. I'm signed into maps BTW.

There may be other dependencies that simply won't allow you to log in to your Google account.

You can try running an unpatched version without google play services installed, and see what happens. That method works for Google maps, so maybe you'll get lucky.

2. Google play *services* is what interferes with Google maps 7+. HOWEVER, for apps that require google play services (like yelp, uber, Hailo, etc), the only way to get them to run is by patching them and installing google play services.

So you can choose what to install, depending on your needs. If you're only interested in a fully functioning google maps, no need to install Google play services. If you're interested in other apps that require google play services, you may need to sacrifice the ability to login to google maps (or do what I do, and use Google maps 6.14).

Hi Sally, I hav followed this process, google maps r now showing my account but whenever I try to sign in, it states ""something has gone wrong ... try again in a few minutes".

Should work the same as it does on all other 10.2.1 releases. Install Google login services from page 4 or 5 of this thread and you should be good.

There's no need to patch google maps. To get 8.1 to work and log in to your Google account, you need to follow the same steps outlined (repeatedly) earlier in this thread. Somewhere on page 4 or 5 I believe is where it was first posted to get the newest maps to work.

If it says there's nothing to patch... it usually means there's nothing to patch .

It could also mean that it's not finding your jre install correctly.

No need to patch amazon appstore. It works as-is.

Candy crush won't work either way (and I don't even know if there's anything to patch).

Snapchat I don't believe there's anything to patch either. (and it doesn't work well anyways).

Try an app like yelp and see what the patcher does.

V. 8 runs much smoother than 7 did, can't remember 6, I would say give it a shot, if it doesn't work as well just downgrade. Login still works

V6 advantages: you can login and access your starred places even if you have Google play services (required for other apps like uber and yelp) installed. You can find the apk posted somewhere in this thread by me, or a simple google search I'm sure will yield results. It's a very common apk.

V7/8: some more features like lane guidance and live rerouting based on traffic condition changes. Doesn't run as smooth as v6 imo. Can only login if you DONT Have google play services installed.

I have the login service and Google play services installed and have been logged into maps since v7. I think the trick is to install the login service first then play services last
