    Hi guys

This is my first post ever on CB...

I found a way to install Navigon (I use version 4.9.5) and bypass the connection to the google server could not be established error on my BB Q10 with version 10.2.1.1259.

-First get an .apk of Navigon and install it.
-Download and install the google play store apk: https://mega.co.nz/#!XRcBzD4S!SURUlH...3dN86E6BykKPRI
-Open the google play store (it will crash but do not worry... just leave it like that)
-Open Navigon and it should start downloading

If this is not working you can always contact me on PIN: 2B7D2901 or on twitter @andrej_be for questions or help

    Grtz

    Hi,
it is ok with the connecting to server, but "checking for registration" returns: "An error has occured"
I can`t add account to the play store app. I am able only to start the app. It crashes before the account information filed.
Do you have idea what to do now?

Install the 2 apks from this folder and try again. Let me know what happens.

If you install these 2 apks, try to open them if the icons appear and log in with google account.

    Hi,
Is there other way to install those files in apk? I convert them to bar and install with ddpb.
One of those is google login service which can`t be converted because an "atypical" error. Other is google play services - it is successfully installed but i dont`t know what to do with him...

You need the latest 10.2.1.xxxx to install the above Google service apk directly

I am having the same issue as 7,9 and 10. I've tried two different versions now and still having the same problem; even tried connecting it to Navigon Fresh downloading them through the PC but with no success. is there anyway to pre-download the maps and add them to the Navigon application? has anyone managed to solved this issue yet?

Where can I get an apk of Navigon to check if it works on my Q10? I am willing to buy the Navigon app as long as I know that it will work on my Q10 device.

    Hi guys,
I got 5.2.0 working and got a workaround for the problem with navigon going back to the download page:

open File Manager on the phone and go to the device flash memory under misc/android. I had 2 Navigon directories there: One named "Navigon" and the other one named "NAVIGON" all caps with partly different content.
What I did, is to copy the missing files from one to another both ways. I can't tell which file was needed where, because I redundantly copied eveything to both directories.

I did another thing as well, I copied a small map (Andorra) into the map directory.

I can't tell which one of these steps did the tric, but I am happy Navigon user since.

    Hope this helps.

Which files you did copy from one to another? As far as I remember I just copy apk file to the root of the phone and install it thats it about what copying are you talking about?

the copying resolved for me the issue which is explained on post 7,9, 10 and 15 (yours).
after the apk istalled and Navigon downloaded some 600 MB, it returns to the download page. After doing what I explained, it worked for me, the Installation was completed and I was able to download the maps from the map Manager of the app.

You copied all the files from folder small caps navigon to folder with caps lock folder NAVIGON? Right?

I copied the files and diectories which were available on the diectory "NAVIGON" but were missing on the directory "Navigon". And vice versa. At the end both directories had the same content.
I just renamed and then deleted "NAVIGON" with all caps. It still works. So I think, what worked is to copy the content of "NAVIGON" to "Navigon".
    got it?

    I;m getting the following message:

Failed to verify this copy of navigon as legally acquired in android market. The application will now be disabled. Please uninstall navigon & purchase a legal copy in the android market.

I uninstalled 5.20 & reinstalled 5.22 with the same result. Could anyone please help me with that other than telling me to buy it. Thanks!

Just to add a note, Navigon was downloading the missing files as well as the map later on on to the" NAVIGON" directory instead of the "Navigon" one, so you only need to copy everything from all caps directory to the other one,

After this step, download the maps, close Navigon and copy the contents of "NAVIGON/map" to "Navigon/map"
