I am using an unlocked Passport running OS I have successfully installed an Android app, which is used for completing work orders for one of my company's clients.

It is continuously running. I terminate the process with Task manager, but the app restarts three to five seconds later. I have tried to change permissions in settings, but all are unchangeable, except for "Run When Minimized", which I have disabled.

So far, there has not been too much impact on battery life, but I do not like Android apps running amok on my phone.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

I'm afraid, like some BlackBerry apps that are designed to run headless, so are some Android apps, but we do not have the control over their permissions to shut that feature off. You could try installing Aerize Optimizer from BlackBerry World. It works pretty good at keeping Android apps from running amok on BlackBerry 10.
