Game does not work on the Z10 or the Q10 , you'll get game breaking graphical errors and blank screens. Apparently the hardware isn't up to the job. Try to use a Z30, passport, or get a cheap android device.

Looks like they officially forced a 31.0 update. The older versions won't work anymore.

Are you using whitelist v1.0.0.5?

Did you patch the app with Play Services Patcher on your PC? Did you use a maps api key?

Trying to patch pokemon go. I keep getting "Error: Package cannot be recompiled."

I've tried GMaps patcher, PS Patcher 1.5 and PS Patch 1.5betav2

I've installed apktool 2.1.1

I've put in the proper API key

What else am I missing?

Success. I had 0.29.2 working on my Z30 which stopped working after the 31.0 upgrade. I was able to path the APK and upgrade successfully.

A quick recap/summary for anyone that had previous versions running and want to upgrade to 0.31 ( since there are so many links over the last couple pages)

I got the APK from
Pok�mon GO (Android 4.4+) APKs - APKMirror

Unzipped Patcher 1.4 from below, and then put the 1.5 exe in the same folder

Installed Java 1.8.0 ( I apparently didn't have it) and updated the Path inside the patcher (Paths Tab)

Accquired both an Android API Key and Maps API Key and entered them into the patcher (Google Maps Tab)

Maps: https://developers.google.com/maps/d...n/android-api/

Browsed to the 0.31 APK, hit Analyze and then hit Continue.
I then copied the patched APK to my phone and installed by opening.

Thanks. I guess it wasn't really that bad. Although I do feel like I skipped a few of the steps, but the app is working okay.

The Niantic load screen might be just a hair faster than before, but the Gyarados load screen is noticeably much faster. Also my maps seem to come up instantly now instead of having to wait a minute for all the roads and buildings to show up under my player in the previous version.

Yes, i followed the linked instructions for Play Services Patcher.

Download PS Patcher 1.5 beta, copy into PS Patcher 1.4. Update apktools, rename and replace.
Added an Android and a Geolocation API Key.
Analyzed and rebuild the PoGo 0.31 app.

After PoGo Install, I open whitelist 1.0.0.5 and write defaults.

Still, there is no google signin Option.

Tried with no success.

Uninstalled PoGo.
Open Whitelist
Wait for PoGo to disappear & write defaults
Reinstall PoGo
Open Google Accounts app & add a 2nd Google account

Still, in PoGo, when selecting Google as Login, there is an endless spinning Ball, as previously linked.

What could cause this?
