I'm trying to install BBM in an Android tablet with version 4.4.2 and I receive a message that BBM is not compatible with that version...Blackberry guys, you need to work faster to become the company you were a few years ago :-)

Did you read the information about BBM before you tried to install it? Does it say it is comparable with this version?

I'd like to know if somebody has a way to install it or if I may need to wait until BB builds the app for Android 4.4.2.

    Thanks.

Hey, it's not like Android developers jumped quickly onto the bandwagon to build much desired apps for BlackBerry 10, when it rolled out, so if you like BBM, I'm sure you can wait for the version to come out that's compatible with your device, like we had to wait for OS 10.2.1 to be able to have apps like Netflix and Instagram on our devices, because everyone refused to build them for BlackBerry.

Only if cellular enabled. Here is the quote directly from BlackBerry:
In addition to BlackBerry smartphones, BBM™ is currently available on iPhone, iPod touch, and Android devices.

BBM for iPhone requires iOS 6.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

BBM for Android supports Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later. BBM for Android is compatible with cellular enabled Android devices with a screen size of 7” or less.
