I sideloaded Brothers iprint apk. that let's me print/scan wirelessly to my Brother printer which works ok . But now whenever I open a pdf file from an attachment in a Email it won't open in pdf Reader. Only in iprint app (which is slow/featureless). Is there a way to change back the default to Adobe reader?. I tried the instructions in Help which is to long press a pdf file and select to open it in adobe but that doesn't change back the defaults. Or is there a way to limit the sideloaded android apps not to take over any defaults? When I uninstall iprint, default automatically falls back to the adobe app.

Look under settings->app manager->view default apps
Maybe you can change it back there

I "cleared defaults". At app manager/default apps. And nothing better. Restarted still no luck.

Btw I accidentally thanked your post.

Maybe try searching for an android app to clear defaults, or use the android settings and clear defaults
