I recently downloaded google play store on to my Leap but now I get the message: Unfortunately, google play store has stopped working. Any ideas?

If that Play Store is not the "Cobalt" one you should uninstall your current one and take it from here:

BlackBerry is not compatible with Google Play Services or Play Store.

Cobalt has provided an unofficial workaround by modifying these apps. Look here to start:

Hit phone against solid object a few times. Try again.

If this sounds too extreme ;-) open thread on desktop PC and try it from there.

Use Cobalt's Google Play Store. You can do in-app purchases, download paid apps, and install apps that have separate data files - all things that Snap can't do.

Cobalt's Google Play Store is better, no doubt.
It supports most of the Store features.

BlackBerry does not support Google Play Services.

Cobalt has provided some more modified apps to deal with this too, and has achieved a decent level of success.

When I click on install for any app, it hangs or give an error in downloading. I have other patched apps working but not able to download and install from playstore especially newsstand.

Get into net and browse for how to get playstore in blackberry there u get 3 download files namely google services app and blackberry google account app and play store.... install them respectively and register ua email in bbgoogle account app...... oolllaa u got play store in bb
