Nope. Works the other way around, I believe. If you need an apk for something go to the Google store. Or Google for it sometime you can find what you need.

This process also works for regular bar files that you obtain that are not available in the BB App World store.

Search the CB forum; there are many good threads on how to install a bar file. You can sideload via "DDPB" or Google Play's "Playbook App Manager".

Although, if it's a converted Android app within a bar file, one can extract the apk from within the bar and use that.

One cannot convert native apps in bar format to apk, however.
