I tried it but apps doesn't work at all, reboot and reinstall for apps didn't help so I went back the one from .1971

I have sideloaded Instagram 4.2.1 on my Z10 running 10.1MR.

I can confirm that keyboard problem is still there.

It should be fixed only if you have 10.2 loaded with the unlocked Android runtime.

I've just uploaded a video from the gallery and it worked using side loaded IG 4.2.1

I'm using Z10STL100-1/10.2.0.1791
The runtime is the one from .1791 not the unlocked one

What you guys are not taking into consideration is this version is most likely the one that removes the ability to turn on and off auto play for videos. Basically getting you ready for the intro of ads on instagram so you're forced to watch them like on YouTube.

If the ads do not bug you then fine but as for me, I'm staying with version 4.1.2 until it stops working and I'm forced to upgrade.

So weird I had uploaded a previously existing video and was just about to post it after putting in my description. Instead, I decided to start over with a slightly different video. now it won't get past the thumbnail screen.. bummer, tried it a bunch of times and a few resets with no luck. Soo close! Using newest runtime

EDIT (did some digging):
first video was a straight film from the bb camera, done months ago. the one that failed had a quick storymode edit that might have caused the upload issues. i noticed the original video would populate the timelime thumbnails during cropping, whereas the story mode edited video would not (i would use this as a signal to whether your video will work or not). i ended up putting the video on my computer and encoding it with android mobile properties and then reloading it back onto my BB. trying again in instagram was successful!

Yeah, unfortunately the video uploads don't seem to work with the 4.2.1 with 10.2.0.1761 with the Unlocked Runtime from 10.2.1.575. Though at least I don't have to use the Google Keyboard...that drove me mad! I hated using that for all my Android apps...

I'm considering slapping 1791 on to test but mostly too hungover today to do that...and have training the whole week so someone else will have to test and confirm these things.

I believe the unlocked runtime is a requirement here.

edit: restarting, then doing 3.4.4 to 4.1.2 worked again.

IG 4.2.2 is in Playstore, don't ask for APK or BAR, I already shut down my laptop and I never put it on my Mediafire, but it's there

Working on Q10. Instagram 4.2.2 is working even better. I converted apk file to bar with my debug token. Video filters often make the app crash (in 4.2.0/4.2.1), but working just fine on 4.2.2. Camera on Q10 is rotated by 90 degree cw. Hope there's a hack... After turning off 'Use Instagram's Advanced Camera' in Options - Advanced Features, everything went back to normal, but it's impossible to record/import videos that way. So, the only way to use videos, I guess, will be to use prerecorded videos with the Advanced Camera enabled, but the video thumbnails are missing. No perfect solutions I suppose.

Guys, any good advice:
I just sideloaded thr bar file, which I found in the goodereader website. After registering and signing in to IS, I receive an error message that indicates I'm not using the most recent IS version. Can any of you fwd here the correct bar file or a link to it?
