So I have a passport running 10.3. I am trying to download google play services. I have the google account manager, blackberry google id, and google+whitelist (not sure if I need that). So what am I missing if anything? Every time I try to download play services I get this

You need to download a patched version of Google Play Services.
Cobalt has released version 7.5 you should look at the forums.

Did that have all (three???) files downloaded I can get into google play store but I downloaded youtube and this is the error message I get.

EVERY app that asks for Google Play services must be patched. That's how it works.

Not sure when I click that link and download through mega it just brings me to the google setting app that I already downloaded... am I doing something wrong?

Not sure what you're doing wrong, but if it doesn't work and you did patch it, then yeah, you're probably doing something wrong.

What OS are you on? Are you at least on 10.3/10.3.1?

You will need to start all the way over. Just delete all google related services and reinstall will steps provided. I ran into the same problem once.

Guys you will need to read and understand the instructions on Cobalts landing page before you attempt to download this. Also If you did not previously use an android phone you could get lost.

Followed instructions plus watched three or four videos online tutorials. Its whatever not a necessity too many hoops. If it worked would have been cool but im good. Still like what I got.

Like the above poster, I read and installed and watched youtube tutorials. I'm fine without google play- was just interested in a few apps. My life will continue without them
